Harrogate businesses are invited to ensure that their digital activity is legally compliant with a comprehensive package of fully funded support from Dunwell Data protection.
What does the programme deliver?
Please note: funded support is available for up to 11 Harrogate-based businesses.
The pandemic saw many businesses having to pivot how they sold their products and services. As such, you may have had to switch very quickly to an online platform or ecommerce website, and are now gathering more personal data from customers than before. It is therefore important that you ensure that you are keeping on the right side of data protection and e-Privacy laws.
When it comes to the personal data you collect, how you store it and what you tell individuals about how you will use it, getting it wrong will have a negative impact on a business, from customer complaints to investigations by the ICO. Dunwell Data Protection have tailored a specific package for businesses within the Harrogate area, which includes:
- provision of a ‘traffic light’ report which highlights the non-compliances along with how difficult/easy it is to locate and read the documents;
- provision of easy to understand advice on how to comply with relevant laws
- provision of updated wording to add to the documents or a complete re-write of the documents if this is more practical.
This fully funded programme is only available to SME businesses or charities within the Harrogate district.
Places are limited, so please register your interest early to avoid disappointment.
If you are interested in participating, please fill in the form on this page and we will be in contact with you. If you would like to know more, please contact email@example.com
