York St John University’s Enterprise Centre are pleased to invite Ian Walker from Ian Walker & Co Chartered Accountants to deliver a session on ‘Routes to Finance for Start Ups and SME’s’.
Ian has a wealth of experience in planning and keeping business finances in order. He’ll demystify and break down the jargon and reduce your potential fear factor of finance, accountancy and managing money. This is a must go-to session!
The session will explore:
- The importance of monies/working capital for any business.
- Options to securing monies/working capital and the advantages and disadvantages of each.
- How to make a venture attractive or compliant for accessing routes to finance/working capital.
- The importance of financial budgets and planning for any trading venture.
The aim of the session will be for participants to leave with a greater understanding of the above and associated business matters. There will also be plenty of time for question and answer.
