The bootcamp is a comprehensive training programme aimed at supporting individuals in launching, sustaining, and growing a business in the creative industries.

Unlocking Potential in a UNESCO City of Media Arts

York is one of 25 cities in the world with a UNESCO City of Media Arts status. In light of this, the Creative Business Skills Bootcamp aims to inspire more businesses to take root in the region, fostering job creation, talent cultivation, and skills development.

What to Expect

This 12-week evening course is crafted to empower creatives in developing their business. Best of all, it’s entirely free to attend! Participants will delve into a series of workshops and masterclasses tailored specifically for start-ups. All attendees will also receive an exclusive offer of 12 months free rent at the York St John University Enterprise Centre. This will provide invaluable support during that critical first year of business.
