Women Connect Peer to Peer Board

The Growth Hub are launching a new fully-funded Peer-to-Peer programme for businesses located in the North Yorkshire Council region which will begin from September 2023, including a cohort delivered by Yorkshire in Business for women to connect peer-to-peer.

Do you feel isolated in business with few opportunities to delve into key issues, challenges and opportunities?

Have you lost focus, drive and motivation to continue to grow your business?

Are you considering going into a different market sector but lack the confidence and knowledge to do this? Women Connect Peer to Peer Board can empower you with the knowledge and expertise that could enable you to take that leap.

Fully funded, you can utilise your own revenue to grow your business, spend some real time on your business strategy and see your business grow.

This is a chance to work with a group of like-minded women from non-competing areas with the aim of sharing tips, techniques, knowledge and experience to solve key challenges, uncover opportunities and build connections.

Think of it as having your own professionally facilitated informal board. Women Connect is designed for businesswomen invested in developing their business and helping others to do the same

About the Peer to Peer Programme

Women Connect is fully funded by the York & North Yorkshire Growth Hub through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. All you need is to commit your time to four two hour on line sessions and two in person meetings, which will likely be located in the coastal area of North Yorkshire. There is also a monthly on line one hour check in with a business mentor. This support offer is currently only available to businesses located in North Yorkshire Council, and therefore is not open to businesses located in City of York Council area.

Starting in September, the sessions are planned for:

8^th November
13^th December

About the Provider

Yorkshire in Business has been helping businesses throughout North Yorkshire since 1985. They deliver their expertise through bespoke solution led sessions that enable entrepreneurs to achieve their business goals with empowerment and confidence.

Paula Grizzard, founder of She Business, is a board facilitator, business coach and consultant supporting women who want to expand and grow their businesses.
