York St John University’s Enterprise Centre are pleased to invite Mike O’Farrell-Follos, Course Leader for Project Management, York Business School at YSJU.
Mike teaches across a range of subject areas at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, including leadership, management and change. As Course Leader, he works closely with the Apprenticeships office and is responsible for the overall experience and course-level leadership of the Apprentices on PMDA pathways.
This session will explore:
- Understanding the basics of PM and how it can add value.
- Identifying your project goals.
- Scoping your project and writing a plan.
- Planning, controls and risk.
- Stakeholder management and communication.
- Common mistakes and real-world application. Q&A
