About this event
York St John University’s Enterprise Centre are pleased to invite Dr Brendan Paddison, an Associate Professor and Associate Dean in the Business School at YSJU.
Brendan teaches across a range of Business and Management subject areas at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, including tourism, responsible business and politics. As Associate Dean, he provides academic leadership for foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate awards in Business, Management, Economics and Accounting across the Business School.
This session will explore:
- Where to start – which includes drafting a summary and a description of your company.
- Identifying your business goals.
- Describing your service / product.
- Market research.
- Financial planning.
- Common mistakes when writing a business plan.
- Q&A.
