We are offering eligible businesses 12-months fully funded membership to the online, community led shopping platform, ShopAppy.com.
Initially, the offer is available in the following towns: Selby, Tadcaster, Harrogate, Pickering, Malton & Norton, Richmond, Leyburn, Stokesley, Thirsk and Easingwold. However, the first 50 businesses to sign up from outside these towns can also benefit from free 12-month subscriptions, worth £240 each.
ShopAppy.com is an award-winning digital platform that was designed to give small independent businesses a way to operate and compete with online retail giants.
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, it allows people to shop locally and support your businesses even if they have to stay at home and you are not able to open yet.
The marketplace is ideal for retail and some service-based businesses. It allows you to start trading again and operate safely by offering ecommerce.
It can be set up with limited technical know-how, and without the cost of building and promoting your own standalone store. ShopApp.com will also load your first 10-15 products helping to save you time and get started quicker.

Get started
You can access the ShopAppy.com registration page via the button below. Once registered, they will verify your information and provide access to an online portal which is their shop area.
From here, you will be able to add products and services, as well as details about you business. ShopAppy.com will provide a detailed manual, as well as instructional videos to get you up and running. They will also help by uploading your first 10-15 products.

There are many ways that businesses can take advantage of ShopAppy.com. This could include, for example, offering buy now, enjoy later vouchers or packages. The Growth Hub are happy to speak with individual businesses to provide support and inspiration in this area.
The subscription fee for 12 months is fully funded by the Growth Hub. Following this, you can choose to continue at their own cost or cancel their subscription.
Delivery fees (if applicable) are paid for by the customer.
Transactions are subject to normal card processing fees that businesses would typically incur. This is set at 2%.
