“Helping Harrogate Hospitality” with Mr B Hospitality : Harrogate Business Support Event

An event put on by Philip Bolson of Mr B Hospitality in partnership with the York & North Yorkshire Growth Hub, to support hospitality businesses in the Harrogate district. Held at Goldsborough Hall, there will be networking opportunities and local speakers, including Andrew Jones, MP for Harrogate and Knaresborough.

The purpose of the event is to discuss & share thoughts on how Hospitality can be supported in the district, and together understand how we can not only survive, but flourish in the years ahead. Those speaking at the event and joining for the networking are:

Speaker

Philip Bolson

Philip Bolson owns Mr B Hospitality, a business that exists to help Yorkshire Hospitality be brilliant. The business was set up in 2020 after 30 years in the sector where he has worked with and learnt from some of the best in Hospitality across the UK.

Philip has worked in both General and Regional management roles with businesses such as Whitbread and Travelodge through to being the General Manager of the 5 Star Grand Hotel in York. At the Grand he oversaw a £15m development including the addition of 100 bedrooms, and the development and opening of both the Grand cookery school and Rise Restaurant.

Along the way he has been a landlord, Area Manager for Greggs, UK & Ireland Operations Director for the Wyndham Hotel Group, Operations Director roles with the Management Company Redefine BDL and Splendid Hospitality, owner of a Lodge on the outskirts of York, and M.D. of the Lake District Hotel Group.

Philip also sits on the York & North Yorkshire Chamber Leadership Group advising on Hospitality, a subject of which he is an active advocate across the Region – the businesses and those who work in them.
