This event, celebrating International Women’s Day, gives female start-up owners the chance to pitch for an angel investment of £500-£1000 and receive a free pitching workshop.

About this event

Brought to you by Audrie Woodhouse, York & North Yorkshire Growth Hub and York St John University to celebrate females in business on international women’s day.

The event will involve Female Owners/Founders of start-up businesses in York and North Yorkshire area, who have been successful in the application process to pitch for angel investment of £500-£1000 to develop their business.

All successful applicants will receive a free pitching workshop from Audrie Woodhouse. Audrie from Honestly Speaking is a coach and trainer who delivers long term visible transformations, increasing clients confidence, resilience and professionalism, helping them present the best version of themselves in every area of life. This session will be held the week prior to the pitch date.

Would you like to apply?

To be eligible to apply you must be a Female Owners/Founders of a start-up business, operating for three years or less, with less than 5 employees. You must also be within the York and North Yorkshire radius, please email g.jones@yorksj.ac.uk for an application form and to check whether your within the postcode radius.

The deadline to apply is Friday 17th February 5pm.
