This free event is an opportunity for senior managers from Craven’s SMEs and public sector to work together in a workshop for leadership and insight discovery.

About this event

Change is opportunity. We are seeing enormous global market change alongside a huge shift in regional political reorganisation.

Aimed at leaders from SMEs of all sectors, this lunchtime session supported by Craven District Council will address Leadership and Followership and introduce solutions for management, team coherence, and stimulation to improve performance by adopting a growth mindset and understanding personality types. Mo Usman of Sterling and Templar Leadership and Management will lead senior players to work together on understanding this complexity and devising strategies for effective team management and board leadership. Delegates will learn how Leaders understand the art of Following, when to change a strategy, what mindset tools to make use of when and use of critical thinking methods. The session will be fast paced yet provide ample space for reflection and short tasks.

Now is the time for leaders and senior managers to look broadly at forward strategic thinking and working. From global market changes to the development of a mayoralty in York and North Yorkshire, we need fresh leadership and management tools to work with.
