‘Spring into Growth’ with free support and training from Aspire2Lead
Aspire2Lead is helping individuals and businesses grow, upskill and promote equality in the workplace with free support.
Aspire2Lead is a project, part-funded by the European Social Fund, that aims to provide free support to women and businesses in the York and North Yorkshire area so they can achieve their full potential. Working in partnership with Beyond 2030 and YorkshireInBusiness, they deliver a range of services with a holistic approach for individuals and organisations to suit their needs and goals.
Their offer includes group training and one-to-one support, leadership and management courses, women returner support for both individuals and businesses, and networks to connect individuals and share knowledge and experiences. The project also supports businesses to boost their productivity by adapting policies and procedures to improve inclusivity and attract and retain high-quality employees in their workforce.
Aspire2Lead is a key partner of the Growth Hub. On 2 February, the Growth Hub’s own Simon Middleton was a special guest speaker at Aspire2Lead’s Business Growth and Networking event, talking about how to grow in confidence, collaboration and skills. After the event, we caught up with Simon to talk about the Growth Hub and Aspire2Lead’s partnership, and why it’s important for businesses to engage with skills programmes.
You can watch the full video of Simon’s post-event thoughts below:
